Volunteer


We are always looking for volunteers to help out at the festival and being a volunteer gives you the chance to join the party!

REQUIREMENTS
If you are accepted as a volunteer, you will be assigned a 6 hour shift in exchange for a festival pass or a festival volunteer t-shirt. We typically assign you either an early shift or a late shift.

AGE
You must be 21 or older to apply.

APPLICATION DEADLINE
We accept volunteer applications until all positions are filled. Please note that we fill volunteer positions on a first-come, first-serve basis, so the earlier you submit your application the better your chances of obtaining the position you prefer.

ACCEPTANCE NOTICE
Acceptance notice begins in March.

Volunteer Opportunities

Brewer Volunteer

Duties:  Assist beer pouring stations. Must have New Mexico alcohol server's certificate.

 

Other Event Volunteers Positions are Full


Box Office Volunteer

Duties:  Assist with ticket sales, will call, and ticket-for-wristband exchange.

 

Festival Merchandise Volunteer

Duties:  Assist with festival merchandise sales.


Glass Distribution Volunteer

Duties: ABQ Blues & Brews Festival Glass Distribution

 

Load-In Volunteer

Duties:  Assist with festival load-in. Labor intensive -must be able to lift heavy equipment.

 

Security Volunteer

Duties:  Monitor festival entrances, exits, and perimeters.

Stagehand Volunteer

Duties:  Assist with production on festival main stage. Labor intensive -must be able to lift heavy equipment.

 

VIP Volunteer

Duties: Monitor and direct VIP areas

 

Trash/Recycling/Composting Volunteer

Duties:  Monitor trash, recycling, and composting stations on festival grounds.

 

Vendor Volunteer

Duties:  Assist vendors during festival hours.
